How do I apply, refresh or remove the module’s links?
Apply or refresh links
After saving a group and its expressions, open Optimization. Process the relevant content type or choose Optimize everything. Wait for completion, then check a few pages in your shop. Home page, blog and SEO page actions depend on the installed modules. Select a single shop to process Advanced Search Pro SEO pages manually.
After changing groups, expressions, URLs or options, optimize the relevant content again to apply the new settings to existing links. Disabling an expression does not immediately remove links from descriptions: another processing run is required.
The module also recalculates links when a product or category is saved and when a manufacturer is added or updated. For other content, use manual optimization or a CRON task.
Schedule recalculation
In Crontab, copy the URL for the required content: complete optimization, products, CMS, categories, manufacturers, home page, blog or Advanced Search Pro SEO pages. Use the full URL provided by your installation, including its key, rather than a physical script path. For setup with your hosting provider or a scheduling service, follow the CRON task creation procedure.
For Advanced Search Pro SEO pages in multistore mode, CRON can process pages across all shops according to their associated groups. The single-shop restriction applies to rule management and manual back office actions.
Remove generated links
Open Delete Internal Linking, run the removal action and wait for completion. It removes links recognised as created by the module while keeping their text. It does not restore a complete older version of your descriptions.
Groups and expressions remain available. Another optimization, a CRON task or saving content that triggers automatic recalculation can therefore recreate the links. To stop a rule permanently, disable the relevant expression before processing the content again.
In multistore mode, select a single shop to include its Advanced Search Pro SEO pages in link removal. In the All shops or shop group contexts, the removal action does not clean these SEO pages.
