How can I insert a video into a page?

In a supported text field, place the cursor where you want the video, click “Insert a Shortcode”, then open the “Video” tab. The module offers YouTube, Dailymotion and Vimeo.

Which URL should I use?

Paste the full URL into “Video link”. With version 1.1.0, use the following formats, replacing the identifiers with those of your content:

For YouTube, the module uses the URL’s v and list parameters: use the formats above rather than a youtu.be short link or a /shorts/ URL. For Dailymotion, keep /video/ followed by the identifier; use the full URL rather than a short link.

Dimensions and playback

You can enter a width and height in pixels. If you leave a field empty, its default value is used: 640 pixels for the width and 360 pixels for the height. The form’s automatic sizing hint does not mean that the player will automatically adapt to the page’s width.

“Autoplay” sends an automatic playback request to the player; check the result in the browser used by your visitors. “Loop” sends a request for looping playback to Vimeo and YouTube playlists, but not to individual YouTube videos or the Dailymotion player.

Click “Submit”, save the product or page, then check the player in your shop, including in a narrow window. If a video does not appear, first check its URL and availability on the relevant platform.
