How is the ordering of a pack in database managed?

When the module validates a pack order, it replaces the pack line with lines for the purchased components in the ps_order_detail table. The ps_ prefix is an example: use your store’s actual prefix.

Each line includes the product ID, the selected combination ID, the purchased quantity and the associated amounts. The component quantity is multiplied by the number of packs ordered.

Example: ordering one pack with three components creates three component lines. If a component is included twice, its quantity is recorded on its line; this does not create one line per unit. This example assumes all three components are retained in the purchased pack.

An export tool can retrieve these products and quantities from the order lines. Check the data your connector expects and when it reads the order: the management system FAQ explains the checks to perform. This behavior does not guarantee support for orders created by an external service.
